Yarrow Tincture (Achillea millefolium)

$12.00

Yarrow is an herb famous for its amazing ability to staunch bleeding and speed the healing process when used externally. Internally yarrow excels in toning tissue with astringent compounds and healing the gut.

Yarrow is an incredible multi-use herb that shines in managing colds and has the dual energetics of being either warming or cooling depending on what the body needs. Externally, this tincture may also be used to disinfect and treat wounds.

Even as an herb of Venus, yarrow calls on the warrior within to step forward. Yarrow is an ally for boundaries, courage and protection. The stems have long been used by our forebears as divining rods for sacred rituals.

The entire flowering plant is harvested, cut and finally steeped in alcohol for at least 8 weeks, then strained and bottled.

Instructions: Place 1-3 dropperfuls of tincture in a small glass of water or directly under the tongue. Best taken between meals, take as needed. Consult with a trusted herbalist or physician if you are nursing, pregnant, or taking other medications.

Our promise: The herbs in every one of our products are grown and harvested at Orchard Hill Gardens mirroring the cycles of nature and using natural farming methods. No harmful chemicals are used on our plants, ever.
