Rose Tincture (Rosa multiflora)

$12.00
sold out

Cooling and hydrating rose works to tonify tissues with nourishing antioxidants and long-lasting emollient properties. Rose is able to soothe inflammation and to keep the skin’s moisture barrier strong.

Like many herbs, rose is mildly antibacterial. She is gently astringent to mucous membranes, and vulnerary. Rose is a mild nervine and a heart tonic helping to work through grief and loss. Rose is known to increase a low libido and stimulate blood flow to the pelvic region.

Rose is associated with Venus, the planet of love, beauty, and friendship. Rose is often used in rituals attracting love as well as attending to grief. Rose may be used in boundary work, calling on the rose’s thorns to help create protective barriers.

The rose petals are harvested and steeped in alcohol for at least 8 weeks, then strained and bottled.

Instructions: Place 1-3 dropperfuls of tincture in a small glass of water or directly under the tongue. Best taken between meals, take as needed. Consult with a trusted herbalist or physician if you are nursing, pregnant, or taking other medications.

Our promise: The herbs in every one of our products are grown and harvested at Orchard Hill Gardens mirroring the cycles of nature and using natural farming methods. No harmful chemicals are used on our plants, ever.
