Passionflower Tincture (Passiflora incarnata)

$12.00

Passionflower is a lush, green, prolifically vining semi-tropical plant with extremely unique, large purple flowers which give way to sweet, tart fruits called maypops in the fall.

Passionflower settles nervousness and has an anxiolytic (anxiety-calming) effect. A warm cup of passionflower tea or taking this tincture in the evening allows for the mind to quiet and deep sleep to come along faster.

Passionflower is linked with Venus, planet of love. This herb brings calm, peacefulness and rest. She works with love and friendship in ritual work.

The leaf, flower and vine of passionflower are harvested, cut and steeped in alcohol for at least 8 weeks, then strained and bottled.

Instructions: Place 1-3 dropperfuls of tincture in a small glass of water or directly under the tongue. Best taken between meals, take as needed. Consult with a trusted herbalist or physician if you are nursing, pregnant, or taking other medications.

Our promise: The herbs in every one of our products are grown and harvested at Orchard Hill Gardens mirroring the cycles of nature and using natural farming methods. No harmful chemicals are used on our plants, ever.
