St. John's Wort Oil

from $8.00

St. John’s wort is a powerful herb with small flowers the color of the Sun. Applied externally, this hypericin-infused oil eases muscle and nerve pain, deeply nourishes stressed nerve endings and brings a relieving warming effect to the area.

Rubbing the oil into affected areas is helpful in alleviating pain from sciatica, inflamed skin, tension from chronic stress, growing pains, neuralgia as well as supporting in recovery from wounds and injury.

St. John’s wort is an herb of the Sun. The Greek word hypericon means “over an apparition”, which relates to ancient ancestral knowledge that St. John’s wort is a powerful protector and talisman to ward off evil spirits.

St. John’s wort flowering tops are harvested on the summer solstice, steeped fresh in oil for one month, then strained and bottled.

Use for oil cleansing, dab on temples, moisturize the tips of hair, anoint sacred objects or candles and use in ritual work.

Our promise: The herbs in every one of our products are grown and harvested at Orchard Hill Gardens mirroring the cycles of nature and using natural farming methods. No harmful chemicals are used on our plants, ever.
